Crossroads Ladies Bible Studies
What an exciting time in history to be a woman of God! Each of us has been uniquely gifted by God and has a special place in the body of Christ. Our mission at Crossroads is to provide opportunities for personal spiritual growth, to build and strengthen relationships within the body, and to reach out to the community with the message of Christ's love.

We offer relevant Bible studies for women in every season of life. The studies are typically available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. Our semesters coincide with the CISD calendar and are divided into two distinct sessions. Our Spring Session runs from January through April; with varying summer activities, and the Fall Session from September through November. Join us for either one or both!

This is a great time of growing in God's word while making new friends and strengthening relationships with old ones. We encourage you to invite a friend or relative who just might need a little girl time! Whether you are simply exploring what it means to be a believer, beginning your faith journey, or have walked with the Lord for a while, there is a place for YOU!

Cost: $16
Author:  Beth Moore

In this newly released 9-week study based on 1 & 2 Thessalonians, we’ll embark on a missionary journey with Paul, Silas and Timothy.  Along the way, we’ll learn how to join together as a body of believers – living as “children of the day” – who take our stand against the enemy, claim our ground, fight for victory and unite in Jesus’ name!  We’ll be reminded that our circumstances and conditions are not coincidental, but that God’s ways are perfect and His timing impeccable!  So, whatever crises we’re facing, whatever doubts or fears, we’ll receive encouragement for living the Christian life now and hope for when Christ returns!  This won’t just be a Bible study – it will be an adventure we won’t want to miss!

Homework Commitment: 5 lessons per week/25-30 minutes each day

The Family of Jesus
(Class size is limited - also offered in the spring)

Tuesday, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Starts: September 9th (7 weeks)
Cost: $13
Author: Karen Kingsbury
Teacher: Jeanine Weber

JOSEPH.  ZECHARIAH.  JOHN THE BAPTIST.  ELIZABETH.  JAMES.  MARY.  Karen Kingsbury, one of America’s favorite storytellers, through careful research of Scripture, history and culture, will no doubt make these members of Jesus’ family feel like our own in this newly-released 6-week video/workbook study.  As we step into the lives of these men and women, and consider the cost and commitment required of each, we’ll grow in our love for them and of God’s Word.  But, in considering THEIR stories – stories written on the pages of Scripture so long ago – we’ll also consider the stories that WE are writing with the days of our lives NOW.

NOTE:  This study utilizes a student workbook, which will be available for all participants.  However, “The Family of Jesus” hardcover book, although optional, provides a deeper insight into each character.  If you would like this additional resource, we encourage you to purchase your own book (or an e-book version) and read the first chapter (Joseph) prior to our first class.

Homework Commitment:  5 lessons per week/ 15 minutes each day

We’re all chasing something.  Chasing things … comfort, success, a bigger house, someone’s approval … things we think will make us happy.  Whatever it is, if we’re honest, chasing happiness feels like chasing the wind.  In this “simple, yet deep and very interactive” study, we look intently at David as his story unfolds in Scripture.  David was a man who experienced great heights and great depths in his walk with God yet, through it all, made chasing after the very heart of God his life’s pursuit!  So, whether we’re running from God or working hard to please Him, David’s      journey will challenge our view of God and help us discover, in ourselves, a place Our God has carved out … a place that only He can fill and only He can satisfy.

NOTE: This class correlates with the MOPS program and meets on the Wednesdays that MOPS does not meet. Membership is not limited to MOPS moms.  It is open to any mom of a preschooler who might prefer a bi-weekly study.
