The Pond - our nursery age classes focus on loving care to our smallest Little Kids in The Walk. Movement through these classes is based on developmental milestones.

Before You Arrive

Many children have similar diapers, bottles, cups, diaper bags, and other personal items. (Please label all items)

When You Arrive

If you are a first time visitor, please check in at The Walk-Preschool Welcome Center when you arrive. At the Preschool Welcome Center, you will give some general information about you and your child (allergies, special needs and contact information) and then an identification label will be printed out for your child. You will also be given a parent pick-up label. (Please note that the parent label will only have a random number that will be matched with your child’s identification label when you pick them up.) We will then escort you and your preschool children to their room. Be sure to also fill out an information card each time your child visits with us if we need to know about specific feeding times, nap times, or any information that may be helpful to us.

What to Bring

(Label all items!)

• Disposable diapers (two or more).
• Baby wipes.
• Diaper bag with seasonal change of clothes.
• Pacifier
• Bottles or Cups
• Emergency EpiPen if needed
• We provide snacks (goldfish and animal crackers) and water, If your child has food allergies, we will be happy to serve them a snack you have provided.

Allergies

If your child has allergies, please let us know when you check in and inform the teachers in the room. We have a variety of snacks available, but feel free to bring your own snacks. If your child has severe allergies and has medication for it (inhaler, EpiPen, etc) please bring this and leave it behind with your child's name on it.
