extending MERCY is Crossroads’ response to James 2: 15 – 17: “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” As the Mercy Team works from this Biblical mandate, they will identify needs, prioritize the needs, and develop a strategy to meet the needs in our community, state, nation, and around the world.

Compassion International water filters. Did you know that 1.8 million children die each year as a result of diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation? This is around 5,000 deaths a day. You can help! Compassion International currently has a means of providing a gravity filter system for a family. Each filter can produce up to 500 gallons of clean water per day using nothing more than a common 5 gallon bucket and a hollow fiber membrane filter. Provide the gift of clean water for a family.
