The Men’s Ministry will be following along with the church-wide Chronological reading plan for 2012.
During this nine week study, the participants will read the books of Exodus through Ruth (about 4 chapters per day, 6 days per week). The weekly readings will be brought to life by the teachings of Dr. Ray VanderLaan as he takes us on a video tour of Egypt, the Sinai Desert, and into the Promised Land. He gives us insights into the Scriptures we are reading each week with his extensive knowledge of Jewish history and culture, and brings it home with relevant applications.
The videos will be followed with time for table discussion, personal application, and prayer. We will be using the “Reader’s Guide to the Bible” by George Guthrie.

A small group offers the opportunity to apply God’s Word to your life, to encourage and be encouraged, and to pray for one another. Spiritual Accountability Groups
Men who are not content with just living the status quo ask a few other men to join them for Spiritual Accountability. These men commit to meet together weekly to talk and pray for one another. They seek to embody a Christ-like brotherhood to bear one another’s burdens and give each other permission to challenge them on how they can grow.
